Here's a wonderful original 1960s British-made vintage vanity case, finished in a beautiful rich red faux leather and presented in truly outstanding condition.

Manufactured in the UK over half a century ago, this lovely retro case was made using high-quality vinyl with a convincing leather-like appearance and feel. It's a stylish, practical and beautifully preserved example of classic 1960s design.
One particularly attractive feature is the unusual sideways-opening metal clasp, which gives the case a distinctive retro look. The original key has unfortunately been lost over the years, but the clasp still opens and closes perfectly.
Inside, the case is fully lined and features integrated mirrors, storage compartments and elasticated side holders for organising cosmetics, toiletries and other beauty essentials.
The mirrors are particularly impressive, remaining completely intact and free from scratches or scuffs, with lovely clear reflections.

CONDITION
Quite simply, this is a remarkable example considering its age!
The exterior is in excellent condition, with no noticeable scuffs, discolouration, fading, holes or tears.
All stitching remains secure, with no loose or damaged seams. The original top handle is in immaculate condition and remains firmly attached.
Inside, the lining, compartments and elasticated holders are beautifully preserved. The mirrors are completely intact, without scratching or scuffing, and provide perfectly clear reflections.
The metal clasp functions exactly as intended, although the original key is missing.
Of course, this is a genuine vintage item rather than a brand-new product, but its exceptional overall condition suggests it has seen remarkably little use over the decades — possibly only a handful of occasions.
Despite being over 60 years old, this is certainly not just a decorative collector's piece. It's a fully usable vanity case, perfectly suitable for regular use today.
