Great opportunity to own a genuine vintage gents' mink & wool overcoat. We sell thousands of vintage pieces, but we've never seen one made using this particular mink & wool blend. It's a very fine weave and a wonderfully thick and heavy coat.

Obviously, it's impossible to appreciate fully from the photographs, but this coat feels completely different to a normal wool coat – the quality really shines through. I'd say this is far superior to even an Aberdeen Crombie (we sell those too). A totally one-off piece if you're looking for the absolute best!

We have recently acquired 180 of these handcrafted coats. This is the only mink & wool example! If this one isn't your preferred size or colour, please take a look at our other listings – I'm sure we'll have one that is! (At the time of listing.)

Please note that this is a genuine, vintage, British, handmade piece! Modern equivalents often use thinner materials with a looser weave. Even if you don't select this one, it's always worth considering an older coat – the paradox is that although they're older, they're often much better quality, making them warmer, more substantial and built to last.

Condition

This is the best part! The coat is a genuine attic find and has been safely stored for many years. It is in outstanding condition, with only light signs of wear and absolutely no rips or loose stitching.

Obviously, it was made using high-quality materials and by the finest tailors of the day, so it's a beautifully substantial coat that should provide many more years of warmth and wear.
