Vintage Leather Hat Box / Storage Case – Satin Lined – Made in England – c.1950s
Nb - the hat box in the photos is the one that you'll recieve.
A lovely vintage round leather hat box / storage case, believed to date from around the 1950s and made in England.
Finished in textured dark brown leather with a rich brown satin-lined interior. The lid opens to reveal an internal gathered satin pocket, with a further smaller pocket inside the main compartment.
The case is in very good vintage condition for its age. The exterior has some light age-related marks and wear but no major scuffs, rips or loose stitching. The brown satin lining is exceptionally well preserved and remains in excellent, clean condition.
The original lock is present and the case comes complete with its key.
Please note that the leather carrying strap/handle is quite worn, as shown in the photographs. I have left this entirely as found rather than attempting any restoration.
