Exceptionally rare opportunity to own a genuine piece of Disney history!

This is one of the Disney Jester hats worn by the ushers outside the Hunchback of Notre Dame fim premiere in London way back in 1996 - I know because it's from a driend of mine who was hired by the temp agency whilst a student in london. He was given this hat and a jester costume to wear outside the theater and generally 'play the fool' to the crowds outside. Sadly, he threw the costume away but he's kept the most important part - this hat! He was given two of these (in case they lost one!) So im selling them separately. If you want them both let me know and I'll combine the shipping.

This was made specifically for the film premiere. It was not available to the general public and not sold in Disney stores - a one time use item. They did make other hats - mainly baseball caps which were mass produced and sold in the shops but nothing like this!

The hat itself comes in one size. It's a foam filled flexible fabric so will fit anyone unless you have a huge watermelon like head. It'll stand up fine when you wear it. Most importantly, it has the Walt Disney Pictures logo, film name and year embroidered on the fron (the fact that its embroidered shows it isnt a mass produced model - those are all printed).

Condition is very good. It was inly worn for two nights so there's no wear, no loose stitching, no rips or discoloration. Its been storred for thirty years so could probably do with a quick run through the washing machine - then it would look brand new.

Overall, a VERY rare item and a must have for any serious Disney collection. Not ridiculously overpriced like some of the other Disney items on the market and probably a lot rarer than most. The fact thats its more or less mint is a big bonus.

You wont see another one of these ever anywhere on earth!
