Very Rare opportunity to own an antique 1940's AP Spalding Balmoral tennis racquet. It was sold during WWII by Marshall & Snelgrove in London

Not many of these left in such good condition and trending price is £160 so GRAB a serious bargain.

This comes with the original 40's press - oddly, the press is worth almost as much as the racquet itself - it has the very unusual side catch unfastening...we sell a lot of vintage tennis equipment and I've never seen this before.

Condition

This is the best part! Despite it's great age, the racquet has always been kept in its press so it's in excellent condition. Theoretically, it's good enough to be used in a wooden racquet tournament today - although I highly recommend you only use it as a display item...its too good and too expensive to risk in a game! A modern racquet is easy to replace...unlikely you'll find another one of these!
