Here's a fabulous pair of original vintage MERX Model 604 spectacle frames, made in England from the 1960s.
These have a wonderful classic retro look, with chunky black upper frames gradually fading into a transparent champagne colour towards the bottom. A distinctive design that's become increasingly fashionable again in recent years.
Unlike modern reproductions, these are the genuine article, manufactured in England around sixty years ago and still in remarkably good condition.
The spectacles shown in our photographs are the exact pair you'll receive, complete with their original vintage storage case.

CONDITION
Very good vintage condition, particularly considering their age!
The frames have clearly been well looked after over the decades and remain in excellent structural condition.
There are no cracks, splits, bends or signs of damage to the frames. Both hinges are solid and operate exactly as they should, and the arms remain securely attached.
The attractive black-to-clear graduated finish is nicely preserved, with the natural ageing of the transparent sections adding to their authentic vintage appearance.
The original prescription lenses are still fitted and will be left in place. However, we are selling these as spectacle frames rather than prescription glasses, so please arrange to have your own lenses professionally fitted by an optician.
The original vintage storage case is also included. This has picked up various marks and signs of use over the decades, as you'd expect from something of this age, but it's a lovely addition to the set.
Please study all photographs carefully, including the close-ups of the original markings, hinges and measurements.
Genuine British-made vintage spectacle frames are becoming increasingly difficult to find, especially in such good condition.
