A superb 1930 Singer 99K hand-crank sewing machine, complete with its original wooden case, Singer accessories and original No. 99 instruction manual.
This is an exceptionally nice example. The machine has been fully tested and is working exactly as it should, while cosmetically it is in outstanding condition for a machine approaching 100 years old.

ACCESSORIES & INSTRUCTIONS
One of the nicest things about this particular machine is just how complete it is.
It comes with the original green Singer accessory box containing a substantial selection of period Singer sewing attachments and accessories – please see the photographs for exactly what is included.
Also included is the original Singer instruction booklet:
“Instructions for Using Singer Sewing Machines No. 99 – Lock Stitch, For Family Use”
These original accessories and instructions are often missing when 99Ks appear for sale, so having them together with the machine makes this a particularly attractive complete package.
CONDITION
Outstanding for its age.
The black finish retains a lovely deep gloss and the decorative gold detailing remains remarkably crisp and bright. The chrome fittings are also excellent and the wooden base and bentwood cover present extremely well.
Naturally there are some minor signs of age and use if examined closely – it is a 1930 machine – but overall this is one of the cleanest vintage Singer machines we've had.
Mechanically it has been tested and is fully working. The hand crank operates smoothly and the machine is ready to use.
Please note that the original case key is missing. However, I have found a small screwdriver which fits the lock perfectly and allows the case to be locked and unlocked, and I'll include this with the machine.

A really lovely, unusually complete Singer 99K – equally suitable for somebody wanting a usable traditional sewing machine or a collector looking for a particularly well-preserved example.
