This is a seriously high-quality piece, combining traditional outdoor clothing design with Paul Smith's distinctive contemporary styling. As you'd expect from Paul Smith, they've taken a classic, practical garment and added a few unexpected designer touches to create something rather special!
We sell thousands of Paul Smith pieces, mostly from previous seasons, which is how we're able to offer such substantial discounts on the original retail prices.
The jacket is made from a lightweight, waterproof fabric, designed to provide excellent protection against the unpredictable British weather.
It features a generously sized hood, storm collar, storm cuffs, zip and Velcro fastening, and an adjustable drawstring hem to help keep out wind and rain.
There are also some lovely designer details, including contrasting coloured tabs and distinctive PS branding, giving the jacket a modern, slightly technical appearance without being overly flashy.
IMPORTANT: This is a lightweight, single-layer jacket with a light lining, rather than a thick, padded winter coat.
Although waterproof and designed to provide protection against wind and rain, it doesn't have heavy insulation and isn't intended for extremely cold conditions.
It's ideal for a typical British autumn day, a milder winter evening or simply keeping the rain and wind at bay. Wear it over a jumper or fleece when you need additional warmth.
