We sell thousands of Paul Smith pieces every year, but it's very rare that we're sent anything from the Red Ear range. If you're not familiar with it, Red Ear is Paul Smith's Japanese range, which is not generally available in Europe. The Red Ear pieces are exceptionally well tailored and finished to a particularly high standard, with a different aesthetic to the European collections. This is reflected in their higher prices.
NB – We don't use stock images. The shirt in the photos is the exact one you'll receive.
The fabric has a thick, hessian-style weave, with a slightly rough texture similar to sackcloth. It's cream in colour with an interwoven blue cross design.
If you're familiar with Paul Smith, you'll already be aware that their sizing can be somewhat random, depending on the cut and style of the piece. Therefore, I measure each item individually to provide an accurate size and avoid any confusion!
Please see the photos, which form part of the description. As you can see, the pit-to-pit measurement is actually 22 inches across.Please also be aware that this is a casual/loose-fit shirt. It's considerably roomier than many Red Ear pieces, which are often tailored with the Asian market in mind and can therefore have a smaller fit than their European counterparts.
It's worth comparing the measurements with one of your own shirts to ensure a perfect fit. We accept all returns, but it's much easier to get it right first time!
