This is a particularly unusual Paul Smith design. Most of the padded jackets we see are full-zip styles, whereas this one has a smock / pullover construction.
The standout feature is the fantastic Cosmic Swirl pattern in shades of purple, blue and black. It's a really distinctive design and exactly the sort of unexpected detail Paul Smith is known for.
The jacket is lightly padded and quilted with 80% goose down and 20% feather insulation. It's warm enough for normal winter day-to-day wear and chilly evenings, although it's intended as a casual jacket rather than an extreme cold-weather or ski coat.
It's also packable and folds away into the large zipped front pocket to make a much smaller package when not in use.
