Thanks for looking.
The LG RHT498H HDD/DVD recorder in the photos is the exact one you'll receive.
This is quite an unusual example.
It originally came from an electrical retailer which later moved premises. This particular machine had been used purely as a display model and was subsequently stored away in their warehouse.
As a result, despite its age, it has effectively never been used in normal domestic service and remains in exceptionally clean, almost new condition.
It even still retains the original LG promotional graphics and specification stickers fitted to the top of the unit prior to sale, including the original 250GB HDD and feature labels.
We test all electrical equipment before sale regardless of apparent condition, so this machine has been fully tested and everything functions exactly as it should.
It comes complete with the original LG remote control.

CONDITION
Exceptional ex-display condition.
This machine was originally used as a retail display model but, to the best of our knowledge, was never subsequently used by a customer and has spent the intervening years stored away.
The condition reflects this.
The casing, front panel, controls, display and connections are all exceptionally clean and it still retains the original LG promotional graphics and specification stickers fitted to the top of the machine.
There may be the very slightest cosmetic evidence of handling or storage associated with having been a display item, but overall it presents remarkably close to new.
The remote control is also in excellent condition.
Most importantly, despite its apparently unused history, we have fully tested the machine before sale.
The hard drive, DVD drive, recording and playback functions, tuner, controls, display and remote operation have all been checked and everything functions exactly as it should.
