A wonderful large vintage decorative character doll / figure by The Lam Lee Group, dating from approximately the late 1990s / early 2000s.
Standing approximately 16 inches (41cm) tall, this is one of Lam Lee's highly distinctive theatrical Shakespearean / Court Jester style figures, with an wonderfully expressive hand-finished face and an exceptionally elaborate costume.

The level of detail is superb, particularly the layered fabrics, oversized sleeves, decorative trim and wonderfully eccentric facial expression. These were designed as decorative collectors' pieces rather than children's play dolls.
CONDITION
Excellent vintage condition.
This example is complete and intact, including the fingers, hands, clothing and decorative elements.
The costume remains exceptionally well presented with its rich colours, textures and detailing. The face and hands are also in excellent condition.
There may be very minor signs of age or handling consistent with a decorative piece of this age, but there are no significant faults that we can see.
