The Brand
If you're not familiar with Kipling it's worth looking them up - they've been making the highest quality travel bags for over a century now. The bag is made of the finest quality materials and has decades of incremental design improvements behind it to get to this level - it's incredibly tough, very lightweight and has beautiful styling. Kipling bags aren't cheap - this is for a reason. You won't find a higher quality bag designed specifically for travel elsewhere!
The Lucilla
The Lucilla is a little different to most Kipling bags insofar as the emphasis is on luxury rather than practicality. It comes in gloriously supple leather & snakeskin and has been designed with a detachable strap so the bag can function as a practical shoulder bag or a glamorous clutch for an evening event. It still comes from Kipling so you can be confident that the quality is there.
Nb - the bag in the photos is the one that you'll receive. As you can see it's in great condition - even has a unique engraved monkey key charm included (they normally cost £10 as an extra!)

Condition
This is the best part! It's easy to see that this bag has hardly ever been used. There are no rips or loose stitching. The zips work fine.There is one tiny area of wear wear to the leather and a tiny cosmetic mark on the inside (see pics), but this is scarcely noticeable. Usually the handles on these used models are very worn or even broken - these are pristine. Overall, I'd give it an 8/10. Not quite brand new but really great!
