If you're reading this then you'll already know exactly what you're looking at
Very rare opportunity to own a genuine mink fur coat from the 1970s - still in great vintage condition!
The mink fur was originally imported to London from Canada. Once here, the master craftsmen at Mornessa designed a unique and exquisite piece. Obviously, mink pelts were amongst the most expensive on the market back in the 70's so they were very careful to only create the best designs using the finest satin lining. Everything is hand stitched and the attention to detail is meticulous!
Please note these coats were made to one size. They are so luxurious and the fur is very dense so it will basically fit anyone between a medium to large. I've put all the measurements below so you can compare with one of your own.

Condition
This is the best part! Even though the coat is around half a century old it is in very good vintage condition. These were very expensive luxury items (basically the equivalent of an expensive car now - much more than just diamonds or a Rolex). Very few people could afford such finery and even if they could it would only be used a couple of times a year. This was always stored in it's own protective case and hung in a dry wardrobe so no nasty insects or damp has ever got anywhere near it. As so often happens with older jackets this could do with refinishing in a couple of areas (a simple job). Please see pics. The satin lining also shows light signs of wear - it's 50 years old - but again no loose stitching or tears. Someone really loved this coat and treated it with the respect it deserves. I hope it now finds a new home where it's new guardian will love it just as much - this is so much more than just a coat. It represents the most beautiful design from the modern age of tailoring
