It was bought at the gift shop on Caesers PALACE, Las Vegas in the early 1980's as a souvenir, bought back to the UK and has never been used - sat in a cupboard for over 40 years now it's still in mint condition!
Probably quite a common item in the USA all those decades ago but most have now been smashed or lost to the sands of time. They made a gold version (not solid gold, it was gold coloured plastic - truly awful). Those have survived as plastic is much more difficult to destroy. They sell for around £33 each and are easily available.
The Glass version like this one is almost impossible to find! If you're looking for a rare piece of Vegas history, still in pristine condition then this is it - I'd be surprised if this wasn't the only one remaining in Europe!
Vintage 1980s Caesars Palace Las Vegas Pint Glass – Heavy Embossed Glass – Mint Condition
A superb original vintage Caesars Palace, Las Vegas pint glass dating from the 1980s. Made from exceptionally thick, heavy moulded glass, this is a quality souvenir that has become increasingly collectible.
The glass features beautifully detailed Roman-inspired relief decoration, including classical columns, arches and a laurel-wreathed Caesar medallion, with "Caesars Palace Las Vegas" embossed around the base. The weight and craftsmanship are far superior to modern souvenir glasses.
Condition:
Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, repairs or clouding. The glass remains crystal clear with crisp, sharp detail throughout and appears to have seen little, if any, use.
A great addition for collectors of Las Vegas memorabilia, vintage barware, casino collectibles, or anyone looking for an authentic piece of 1980s Caesars Palace history.
