This is a vintage Hepworths classic Mac/trench coat in superb condition from the 1960's. This item is The Wetherdair, designed for Hepworths by Hardy Amies. Not many of these older British made pieces still exist so someone out there is going to get a serious bargain.

Hardy Amies was a prolific, Saville Row based fashion designer in the second half of the 20th century. His name is synomous with classic, haute couture gentleman's design. Additionally, Hepworths have been hand crafing gents coats for over a century...if you're looking for the highest quality Mac from one of the most experienced and best designers in the world then this is the one you get!

Sizing

Hepworths design all their coats to allow for jumpers or suits to be worn underneath so they are notoriously big! We're a registered business so accept all returns without question but I've included all the measurements below. Please take the time to compare with one of your own (including the sleeve length). Returns are a hassle for both of us so it's a lot easier to get it right first time! All measurements are in inches.

Condition

This is the best part! The previous owner understood the value in looking after expensive designer garments and this was only worn on a handful of occasions. It's in OUTSTANDING condition with no wear, no loose stitching and no discoloration. There are a couple of small marks on the inner lining but non visible and nothing serious. I'd give it a 9/10. Near perfect!
