Vintage Eagle Head Walking Stick Cane Hardwood Shaft - Original 1970's

If you're reading this then you'll already know exactly what you're looking at.

This is a really popular style as the eagle head handle is absolutely stunning. As far as im aware it was originally designed in the Victorian era and used as a swagger stick - an American designe that they reproduced in the 1970's - this is one of the 70's American models. Recently, they've started to reproduce them again in India - you'll see the ads on here selling them for about £35. The brass head on the modern ones is fine but the stick is nowhere near as good quality. Thos is one of the superior, heavyweight USA models.

The cane in the photos is the one that you'll recieve. Even though its almost half a century old its still in very good condition. You can see it was well used as the brass is rubbed down on the beak and the are a few chips in the paintwork on the cane - nothing serious. No cracks or dents and it'll function well for decades. A very cool looking item!
