Thanks for looking
If you're reading this then you'll already know exactly what you're looking at
Great opportunity to own a vintage John G Hardy gents overcoat in outstanding condition. It was made by the finest tailors from very thick wool. We sell a lot of vintage clothing and this is one of the best coats we've ever had in stock. Please note these older coats were handmade using thicker fabrics and finer stitching - paradoxically, an older coat is better quality, warmer and will last a lot longer than it's modern equivalent!
From the 16th century British bespoke tailoring was the best in the world. John G Hardy was a Savile Row tailor who sat alongside some of the most famous British brands in history. John G Hardy was one of the small handful of tailors appointed by the British monarchy as an official supplier to Buckingham Palace - the best of the best. This coat is from the era when a British wool overcoat handmade in Savile Row was the best in the world. You will NEVER find another John G Hardy coat in this condition at such a low price
Nb - the coat in the photos is the one that you'll recieve. A good quality, handmade Savile Row wool overcoat like this will cost at least £3480 to have made now so grab a serious bargain!

We're a registered business seller so accept all returns without question. In the 60's bespoke coats like this didn't have size labels so pease compare with one of your own coats to ensure a perfect fit. This is a big and heavy coat and returns are a hassle for both of us - it's a lot easier to get it right first time! All measurements are in inches

A great investment for many winters to come for years!
Condition
This is the best part! Usually, these older overcoats have been very well used and show plenty of wear on the cuffs & collars, loose stitching, missing buttons, discolouration and marks. This one has obviously been very well cared for. It's in near mint condition and could almost pass as being brand new. No signs of wear whatsoever, no marks and not a single stitch out of place. I'd give it a 9/10. Not quite brand new but very, very close!
