We bought this as an emergency tool - my son was moving into a new student place and the carpets were horrific so we had to give the whole house a once over and bought this little machine - the cleaner in the photos is the one that you'll recieve and it has only been used once for the aforementioned job - it's pretty much as new (a few residue marks in the bottom of the waste tank but the rest is mint)
I have to say its an incredible machine! I was really impressed and it did a thorough job in about a fifth of the time that we'd expected.
I was going add a massive long list of technical specs here but I'd rather you check some online reviews. Rather than me waffle on about how brilliant it is I'd rather you read what other owners think and make up your own mine. It has an average of 5/5 in the reviews everywhere and is probably the best spot cleaner on the market.
As mentioned, the cleaner in the photos is the one that you'll recieve. Sadly, we ended up using the original box for something else so it will be shipped in a plain, cardboard box. It comes with four attachments (I may have lost a couple) and the main nozzle (this is what you'll end up using most of the time) - everything you'll recieve is in the photos. Instructions are available as a PDF on the VAX website
As it was only used once the battery still holds full charge. It says you get 25 minutes but in the real world it's more like 20...more than enough time for most stubborn marks.
Overall, it's a superior level spot cleaner. I suspect I was a bit ambitious cleaning a whole house with it - it's a compact, cordless model so more feared for smaller, urgent jobs rather than a continuous shampoo - you're better off getting an industrial level machine for that (VERY expensive!).
Oh...nearly forgot to mention you'll need to get the VAX cleaning fluid too...available online from everywhere!
