SOUTHPORT FC Shirt Jersey No. 5 Player Worn Long Sleeve Vintage Mens S Kappa

This is a Southport FC shirt from (I believe) the 00's. Please read the description all the way to the end as there's a few things I'm not sure about - maybe you could help! Southport FC  aren't yet quite as big as LFC, Everton or ManU so details online are sketchy and limited - I wrote to the club about this shirt...even they don't know which year it's from either!

The shirt main sponsor is ME Group who's owner is a chap called Adrian Shandley. He's been involved with the club for decades (everything from training the youth teams to sponsoring the stadium. I'm having real difficulty identifying exactly which season this shirt is from but as it's made by Kappa. I'm 75% sure it's from the mid 00's

This is a player worn/owned shirt - this part I'm 100% certain of as it has the No. 5 on the back (I've included a pic of this). There's absolutely no reason for anyone other than the No. 5 player to have this shirt so it has to be his jersey. Even if he had some weird superfan who bought this and had it made the print would be different. I'm still working on identifying the player as the club don't seem to know!

Condition

Very good condition - I honestly think this hasn't been worn more than a handful of times. Maybe it was the players spare shirt? Not a single stray thread, a couple of minor marks but no signs of wear whatsoever anywhere. I'd give it a 9/10
