If you're reading this then you'll already know exactly what you're looking at

The grinder in the photos is the one that you'll recieve. As you can see it has the 'S' on the top so was part of a pair - this was the salt grinder but works just as well grinding pepper. The grinder is complete and in fully tested and working condition. In comes in the best colour combination - the wrought iron cast is painted a dark British Racing Green and it has the brass hardware

This is very specifically a Robert Welch design - only produced by themselves but this particular one was commissioned by Cole & Mason back in the 1960's. Very few of these are left thus the marginally higher price.

Condition

Generally very good for a cast iron piece that is well over half a century old. It was a working/used grinder so there are a few chips in the paintwork and the odd spot of rust at the base - it definitely doesn't look brand new but for something this old you probably want it showing signs of its great age. Fully working - would make an ideal partner if you already have the pepper one.
