As you can see, even though it's over 25 years old it's in outstanding condition. This was one of Lakelands premium models back at the turn of the century - it's from their classics range (hence the vintage car logo). This is reflected in the design which is based on the timeless Gladstone structure (a rigid set of 'jaws' that open at the top). The premium range was all handmade using higher grade, thicker leather and solid brass hardware.

Dimensions are approximately 20 x 14 x 11 inches so perfect as a gym bag, Weekender or junior day to day use - very tough leather so it'll last for decades.

As mentioned, the condition is outstanding. I honestly dont think this has been used on more than a handful of occasions. There is some slight wear on the sides of the leather piping but nothing serious and nothing that wouldn't polish out within two mins and some shoe polish (I've left it as it is because its a vintage bag and I wanted to keep it true to its age). Structurally it's perfect and the top, sides and base are mint. All the brass hardware is also perfect - even still has both keys attached to the Lakeland logo tag! Inside is so good it could pass for being brand new.

Overall a really well designed bag from a reputable manufacturer in near perfect condition - I'd give it a 9.5/10, not quite brand new but very very close!

Lakeland still make a similar model that they sell for £275 so grab a serious bargain!
