PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION ALL THE WAY TO THE END - THIS IS A VERY SPECIAL JUMPER!

I'm a professional seller on Ebay and we live two minutes away from Royal Birkdale golf club - home of the British Open every few years. I know many members of the club so we get quite a few items of memerobelia every time the tournament is held in Southport. This jumper was owned by one of the members who wore it to the event and got it signed by two of the competitors.

Now...this is where it gets tricky. I'm not a golfer and beyond Tiger Woods and Jack Nicklaus I don't know who any of the professional players are. I had a quick look online to see if i could find a signature match but there are loads - I can't even read these signatures! They will definitely be top players as he wouldn't have bothered getting signatures from unimportant ones. If you have any idea who these signatories are I'd really appreciate a heads up from any golf fans out there - Please help!

Apart from the signatures, I should mention the jumper itself. The signatures are only in marker pen so would wash out immediately if you wanted to use it as a jumper only (I REALLY hope this doesn't happen but if you buy it you can do as you wish with it). The Zelchior Pro has been made for a number of seasons now and it remains Hugo Boss' top of the range water repellent golf jumper. New ones have a scary price tag and we usually sell this model for £70 in this outstanding condition. With the signatures it has to be worth an extra £10. If they're good players it could be worth hundreds! A brilliant jumper but I hope it's far more valuable as a piece of British Open history!

Sizing

This is a size XL but as the actual measurements vary massively between the different designers I always measure each item individually. Please compare the measurements below with one of your own jumpers to ensure a perfect fit. We're a registered business seller so accept all returns but it's a lot easier to get it right first time! All measurements are in inches:

Condition

Excellent condition. The previous keeper only wore this on a handful of occasions. No loose stitching, no holes or tears, no significant wear, no discoloration, no stretching. I'd give it a 9/10. I suspect he bought it shortly before it was signed, since then it's been a display item.
