We sell quite a few laptops and this is one of my favorites. It's a higher end student/general use machine but HP have put in quite a high RAM module and it has a massive 1 terabyte hard drive. You wouldn't use this for high end graphics and design but it's perfect for Accounting, watching videos/TV, writing essays, basic editing, internet browsing - all the usual stuff you need for day to day living.

It has an Intel Core i3 processor and that 8gb of RAM makes tasks smooth and simple - there are faster machines out there but the come at a MUCH higher price. This will quite happily do your daily tasks without any fuss or problems. That massive 1tb of space on the hard drive means you'll never run ot of storage.

The Pavilion is probably the toughest model HP have designed in the last ten years - not only does it look great in this Arctic White colour, it's incredibly robust. I wouldn't throw it off a building but it will definitely withstand the usual bangs and knocks any laptop endures and continue to function perfectly.

The laptop will come with the original HP charging cable and also a HP wireless mouse (you definitely need this - laptop trackpads are always rubbish!). Surprisingly, they put in high end Bang & Olufsen speakers which are really clear and louder than you'd expect from such a slim model.

This is the best part! As mentioned, we've sold a few of these before - they've usually been owned by students who, let's face it, can be 'careless' with their laptops. This particular one was bought by an older son for his very elderly mother to get her online. She had absolutely no interest in doing this so it's been sat on a desk since he bought it - it's not quite brand new but very, very close. No heavy scuffs or cracks, no scratches, no dead pixels, the screen is bright and clear and as mentioned, the speakers are surprisingly loud for a machine with such a low profile. It was always plugged in so the battery hasn't deteriorated since new - it still holds charge and is fine with moderate use for a few hours (not heavy gamingl. It's not the most modern laptop on the planet so dont expect it to be super-fast but at this price it's a bargain and will do most tasks easily. Why buy an expensive ferarri when a reliable VW Golf will get you where you need to go in the same time! 

I created a basic Microsoft account when testing it (everything works perfectly!) - the pin is 1122 - thos is just to get you started quickly

When it arrives and you've tested it to.make sure its exactly as described I'd do a full factory reset with your own details.
