This an official, player worn Rugby Union shirt for the Lancashire County team from 2009/10

Bit of an unusual story behind this shirt so please take a couple of minutes to read my description

I'm a professional business seller on here and we get all sorts of weird and wonderful items which we ship to clients and enthusiasts all over the world. We're based in Southport which is not far from Wigan and Warrington where (I believe) quite a few Lancashire County matches were played (along with loads more clubs in the area - as a sponsor was Sale Sharks they may have played at their stadium).

One of the guys who worked for the County somehow got hold of the entire teams matchday shirts after an unspecified game! He's had them stored in his house for the last fifteen years and we've just bought the lot (see my other listings for all the other shirts - I have the whole teams shirts and all numbers)

The shirt in the photos is the one that you'll recieve. Players were given a new shirt every match so it's only been worn once. The shirt hasn't been washed since the match so still has some mud residue from the pitch - if you're going to wear it I'd give it a wash first but I suspect this will be framed - as a match worn shirt you probably want those signs of use left intact for posterity! Please be aware the shirt will arrive in its original, unwashed, match worn condition!

The shirt was made but Samurai and has the lancashire crest embroidered on the chest. Sponsors for 2009/10 were Blacksticks Blue, Stena Line, Sale Sharks & Northwest Rugby. Please check pics for measurements (pit to pit and length)

Pricing this shirt has been difficult as they almost never come up for sale. The last one that did sold for £70 and that was two years ago! Personally, I think that's too high so I've kept it at a fair price. As mentioned, I have the whole teams shirts (at time of writing) so if you want more than one just get in touch and I'll try to work out a better price.
