PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION ALL THE WAY TO THE END

If you're reading this then you'll most likely be a serious cricket player and already know exactly what you're looking at - one of the best ever produced. The Black Prince by Stac is something of a legend in the sport. A fellow ebayer is selling an identical one for £149 so grab a serious bargain!

That one is in decent condition but this one could do with some help - thus the low price. I've checked online and it would cost approx £50 to get it perfect. Either, I could get it fixed myself and sell it for £150 or you can buy it at a £100 discount, get it fixed yourself and then be the proud owner of one of the best. Obviously, this involves some work at your end but there are loads of companies out there that repair bats - just Google it and I've added a pic of a price list from DKP. I'm a professional business seller on ebay but cricket isn't our primary vertical...I'd rather it went to someone who knows more about the sport and will use and appreciate it!

If you're not familiar with this model I highly recommend you check some reviews online from other owners - it's VERY highly regarded!

I've tried to include pics of all decals on the bat to provide specs but if you need any more details just ask - I'm happy to send more pics if you need them. I'm no expert cricketer so could easily have missed something important but I have the bat at home so can check any missing details straight away. This is a great price for this bat but it's still an expensive item so I'd rather you were fully aware of all the details before you make a decision. As far as I can tell it's Harrow (33.5 inches)

A few important measurements...

Total length - 85cm, 33.5 in

Handle length - 26.5cm 10.5 in (give or take 1cm

Weight - approx 1163gms, 2.9 lbs (give or take a few gms)

As mentioned, if you need more info just ask!

Condition

Decent, even usable condition but I'll be as brutally honest as possible without any sugar-coating

Even though I'm not a cricketer anyone with eyes can see this is in overall good condition. It needs a new grip (available on ebay from £4 but for a bat this good I'd get a better one). It's pre knocked-in so the wood is in good general condition. The issue is the bottom quarter - there's a split and some cracks in this area. It could probably be used as it is but that would probably make it worse. Definitely needs a refurb. Apparently this type of repair is the most common and fairly easy to do. I've included plenty of closeups in the gallery section - please check the photos carefully which form part of the description.

All pics are of the bat that you'll recieve apart from the price the repair company's pricing

We got this from a now retired semi-pro and this was one of his favorites (I'm selling this and all his other bats separately - see my other listings).

Overall, one of the best cricket bats ever produced in OK but definitely not brand new condition which will last anyone serious about their sport for years once it's been repaired. Not the cheapest bat on the market but you know exactly what you're paying for and this will give you a definite competitive advantage.

Feel free to ask any questions - as a business seller I'm limited on price flexibility but get in touch with an offer - if it's fair you never know if you don't ask!
