SOLINGEN Cutlery Set 12 Person 100 Piece Steel Inc Case - Read Description

If you're reading this then you'll already know exactly what you're looking at. This is a 12 person, stainless steel cutlery set created at the legendary Solingen workshop in Germany - the finest cutlery on the market!

Please be aware that this set is not quite complete! There are a few pieces missing which I've detailed below

The set is, I believe from the mid 1990's and is made from stainless steel. It's part of the Nivella Rostfrei range. The set features a geometric design on all the handles. If it was complete it would be a 100 piece set. However, there are 9 pieces missing so you'll either need to replace them or invite less guests to your dinner parties! (Nb - replacement pieces are available on ebay if you need to complete the set). The set includes the original Solingen briefcase which comes in a crocodile effect vinyl.

The set in the photos is the one that you'll receive. Fyi someone is selling an identical complete set on etsy for £475 so this is a serious bargain!

This is the important part. You will receive:

Bottom tray in pics (this is complete - no missing pieces)

▪︎ 2 x prongs

▪︎ 12 x tea spoons

▪︎ 6 x dessert spoons

Upper tray

▪︎ 10 x soup (?) Main spoons

▪︎ 9 x standard forks

▪︎ 12 x standard knives

▪︎ 6 x fish knives

▪︎ 6 x fish forks

▪︎ 12 x dessert/small forks

▪︎ 8 x larger teaspoons/dessert spoons

So whilst there should be 100 pieces there are actually 91. That means 9 pieces are absent. They are:

▪︎ 3 x standard forks

▪︎ 4 x larger teaspoons

You can easily mix and match to ensure your dinner party goes well but if there are less than 9 diners you're covered! Would one person really go crazy if their spoon was slightly different to everyone else's?!

Condition

This is the best part! The set has only been used on a handful of occasions so there are minimal scuffs and scratches. The engraved patterns are clean and clear and there are no bends or dents in the larger serving items.

Overall, it's a superior cutlery set - one of the best ever produced - with a few missing parts. Luckily, the items that need replacing are the cheaper ones which are easily located - things like the serving spoons are hard to find and 5 x the price. The expensive items are all present!
