A very advanced mid level portable machine in its day. We sell loads of old typewriters and to be honest, the old mechanical steel ones are much prettier...but they're awful to type on - very slow and no matter how careful you are the keys will jam.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\" style=\"margin-top:0; margin-bottom:0;\"\u003eAs this is an Electric, it's very fast and easy to type on. If you're reading this then I suspect you're looking to get a Typewriter that you'll actually be using, not an ornament to put on a shelf and look at. The outer part of the case has a few marks on it from decades of storage but that's it! The typewriter itself is close to mint. We've given it a basic check but being honest it didn't even need that. All parts are present and everything functions exactly as it should. I think this may have had a plastic cover originally (only a flimsy, transparent one) - this is no longer present. Also, please be aware this has a UK plug fitted.
